i use with openwrt DNS Forwarding to create a wilcard domain (eg service1.nbsp.lan, service2.nbsp.lan etc), then when i vpn in all my services just work ™️… kinda

yes, in early interviews you just lie out your arse and tell them exactly what they want to hear.
but at some point you will need to ask those questions and enter those negotiations.
if you can get a whiff of how fucked the company is early on, that’s great, but don’t be too direct about it.
just need to be strategic/tactical/scheming/whatever about it.

you really need to look at chinese models (eg qwen and kimi) if you want osi compatible licence in a model thats actually going anywhere.

16·1 month agois there any anecdotal evidence that IT departments are at least considering, thinking about, having an initial assessment of doing anything but just buying whatever slop microsoft is spewing out?
kinda feels like until the river of gold from enterprise sales slows there is no downside to microsoft burning their platform.
my anecdote is that no, IT is still a MS crack addict.
