From that, to 1 TB on a microSD the size of a fingernail. Impressive!
Imagine how much work it would be to vaccinate 1,000,000+ chickens in those big factory farms…

Oh my! So cute!!
I’m back to report my findings. I covered over the light with electrical tape, but I hit a problem. Now my remote control doesn’t work.
They’ve combined the IR sensor with the LED that flashes when there is no internet connection present. The clever bastards clearly thought of this ahead of time.
This is malicious design.
You’re right. Might as well do it. Stop letting them harvest my data. I just hope there isn’t some sort of persistent pop up or anything annoying.
My smart TV flashes a light until it has been connected to the Internet 🙃
I’ve heard that the commercial display panels are more expensive, because they’re geared towards enterprise use.

Disability and Accessibility@beehaw.org•Disability for Mental Health Issues
8·10 months agoWe are the ones with ‘invisible illnesses’. They are every bit as real as a physical disability, or other organs/body systems not working.
You don’t tell someone to ‘man up’ when they have diabetes, so why say it to someone who has a mood disorder?
I feel your pain! Sometimes I feel like I’m ‘unworthy’ of being helped. I try to remind myself that it’s not my fault my brain doesn’t work right, and there are tons of people out there who have no issue helping people like me, like us.
It is indeed!

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is something you would like to abolish, and why? (Humorously)English
32·10 months agoI would abolish toilets without bidets. You would be legally required to have a bidet in all bathrooms, private and public. Worldwide!

Lemmy seems to be anti-AI, at least from my impression, but I am hopeful that AI will help invigorate the open source software world. If people can code better, faster, cheaper, safer (more secure) that will surely apply to open source as well. AI coding tools could bring on the Linux mainstream revolution. Imagine thousands of autonomous agents refining software for Linux. There could be a glut of driver support, apps coming to Linux, and so much more. I am hopeful about it.
