I am still using a dumb LG TV from the before times, and love it. I fear the day that I need to replace it.

Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•Steam summer sale is on now! What games do you recommend?
1·1 year agoDoes that still require a third party launcher, or can you just run it straight from Steam now?

Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•Are there any games you're planning to pick up during the Steam and GOG sales?
11·1 year agoI’m up to about 30 unplayed games in my Steam library. I really need to stop buying more.
Seconding this. One of those bonkers films that makes you really impressed that they convinced a studio to give it the green light.

3·1 year agoI watched half of the first episode of season 2 then realised how utterly disengaged I was feeling, and so stopped there.

Ask UK@feddit.uk•What film did you watch when you were too young, and how did it traumatize you?
1·2 years agoSo much of it was nightmare fuel, it’s hard to choose, but I think it was the scene where Dorothy’s friends have been turned into ornaments that haunted me the most.

Ask UK@feddit.uk•What film did you watch when you were too young, and how did it traumatize you?
1·2 years agoReturn To Oz was mine. Took me decades to bring myself to rewatch it.
Alba: A Wildlife Adventure has got cute, cosy and wholesome in spades.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If you had the funding from a major company and total creative freedom, what video game would you get made?
3·2 years agoMaybe not “as many years as they need” because it would never get finished, but definitely allow them 4-5.
We should wait for the lab results before confirming the diagnosis

What does “permanently” mean, in this case? Surely, at best, this means until we have a government that decides to overturn it. And I’m not even confident that that wouldn’t be a subsequent Labour one.
