I get 50 GB mobile data for 7 € every month. I wouldn’t even need WiFi for most cases. Only to save phone battery and download heavy stuff

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why are there many complains about AI power usage but almost none about the resources being wasted by the war/arms industry?
5·8 days agoI live in a Catholic country. Well, I know, countries can’t have religions. Let’s say that the élites impose the marketing and propaganda of that corporation. Every year, they block the streets with massive far-right demonstrations. People dressed as KKK wander the streets burning candles which cost thousands in manpower to clean. On the other hand, when I was younger, people would freely gather at night to have drinks in the street squares. They would litter a lot. The press used to create a great problem about the people drinking but not about the people dropping candle wax.
Pollution, as crime, is only a political concern when it’s done by the lower classes

11·9 days agoI have infiltrated an organisation and I’m extracting a few thousand dollars every month. They aren’t even aware that I’m taking their money bit by bit. I just show up there, pretend to solve some tasks responsibly and dutifully; I talk to people, ask them to chill out; I give them forms myself as well to keep them doing busy work. At the end of the month, the organisation wires money to my bank account. Little by little I’m becoming less poor at their expense

Mosern cars are filthy. They cost a shitload a money and you’re the product anyway.

1·11 months agoI got two of these security razors back in 2017 for less than $50 bucks altogether. Best investment ever. Then, last year I got a Philip razor but I have since just stopped shaving at home. I ask the barber from time to time

Edit: ok, you can get tired of them, too.

For how long? If the human body has 206 bones, you might end up losing 25% of your bones in the near future. Take care and be well!
As a young teen, I used to love to entertain the thought that my watching the game on TV would somehow alter the trajectory and the outcome of the score. If my watching the game is irrelevant, what’s the point of paying attention?

2·2 years agoWhat debate? Why can such a thing as a debate exist? You’ve got a conflict of interest between children’s public health and corporate profit and we know which side is winning. Public health can’t be measured in economic terms because we lack a children’s market
The translation pop up is annoying but the service is done offline, which is nice. Nevertheless, I have never had any need for those, which sad
