@Wrufieotnak agreed. My comment was only half serious, implying that the party mentioned is the enemy, more than anything.

@Wrufieotnak
Mind you, disinformation for the enemy is a valid part of any strategy.

@aarRJaay
Wait. You hope for coherence? _There_, in that cesspool of what may have been a mind once?

> […] They may be right wing, but never that stupid.
… we hope. People’s stupidity can be staggering. Just look at what’s been happening in MAGA land.

@Don_alForno
Police are public servants (in theory, at least) - so what’s this public servant’s name /badge number?

@Juggernaut91
The police were most certainly overstepping their judgement call for violence when arresting the elderly man.
Insulting someone is against the law here, but the cop appeared to have used it as an excuse for corporeal punishment, which is most certainly not his call.

@bassomitron
Blablabla. - you just want to be contrary without thinking too much, it seems?
Of course we are looking for better options. In what version of reality do you think we wouldn’t? Seriously. Just think for a second there.
If at this point you were to bring up fossil fuels, you would most definitely disqualify yourself from the discussion.

@HowRu68
Picking up on one thing here; Genuine question:
Where do you see problems with the far _left_?
The right is in all our faces everywhere, but the left?

@atcorebcor “rent-seeking”? Show me One politician who pays rent.

@jjpamsterdam i believe this is just why some people have this rose-tinted view of her.
Germans are afraid of change - unless they have been exposed to actual cultural exchange (No, ten days Ballermann doesn’t count) - and call it stability in order to give it a positive twist.
Merkel gave them/us just that - inertia.

@brownmustardminion the delay seems to be a setup issue rather than a zigbee issue. My zigbee switches are instantaneous, as much as i can tell.

@GandalftheBlack and the hate/exasperation at Söder has auto-renewal guaranteed.
He is such a moron.
@hector the masses are too easily driven to bad decisions out of fear.
Just consider the power of junk like the Sun, Bild and other rage-fear-and-misinformation “news” outlets.

@ICastFist …. we all hope. Wasn’t there also a term limit in Russia at some point?

@cristian64
Possibly the quality of the cables *_and how you treat them_*.

@Nico_198X nah, you just have not understood what self-determination is. Nor why secret votes are important.

@9point6 that’s a bold assumption. You do something few people do and still think most people think like you?
You have fallen for one of the major fallacies: The idea that one’s own viewpoint is “normal”.

@plyth arguing that fascism isn’t inherently bad is just not understanding what fascism is. … or you’re the fascist, then it wouldn’t be bad _for you_.
Human rights for all humans are not possible in a fascist society. By definition.
You are confusing a few things there.
@mjr by “home office” you mean “working from home”? Because that has a distictly different meaning in many, if not most, English speaking countries.
