Distros like ubuntu ship with a bunch of preinstalled software. This means less setup for you to do but in the end you’ll end up with some stuff you don’t need or understand the purpose of.

And ofc arch is the opposite. It ships with the bare minimum and then everything else is up to you to set up

I use MO2 with Lutris. NXM Link Handler does not function in my experience, but you can just manually download the mods and then install via mo2

Otherwise, you can install windows 10 LTSC, use massgravel’s activation scripts and use some anti-spyware tools such as windows spy blocker for the peak windows experience.
