So, my first question is why hasn’t it been an issue before? Was the timing so that they wouldn’t miss a payment? Or was there a vote to make an exception for snap? Not in favor of this at all, I just don’t understand the mechanisms of a lot of this.

Yeah, that way lies diabetes. For some of us.
Do this. It worked for me.

Um… congratulations on being well adjusted? “I’m fine and not interesting” doesn’t really make for ripping entertainment… So I could see why it would be unpopular.

2·1 year agoI believe you, that something like this was said, but in this age where the web is at our command, “some evangelical somewhere said that” seems needlessly vague and unconvincing.

13·1 year agoI quit them about 10 years ago when I asked for spinach on my sandwich and they gave me 3 small leaves of spinach for an upcharge. That and their instantly stale tasting bread made me done with the particular store and all Subway stores. Was a shame, because they were convenient to where I worked.

24·1 year agoIn no place does Trump specify which ideas he disagrees with in Project 2025. He just doesn’t want to be associated with it. He is not really disavowing the ideas though, AFAIK. And at least for the anti-choice people, Trump has done much that is in line with Project 2025. And he mirrors many of their ideas on immigration.

4·1 year agoIn no place does Trump ever specify which ideas he disagrees with. He just doesn’t want to be associated with it. He is not really disavowing the ideas, AFAICT. It kind of makes me mad that it is being reported that he is distancing himself from P2025. Because… not really.
