2·2 years agoGood work, team 👍
PaddedPerson wasn’t an admin just a moderator, right? So there’s a few unhappy people behind the scenes?
Feel free to post some better examples.
wankbank@lemmynsfw.comtoAsk Lemmy NSFW@lemmynsfw.com•What other Coms (communities) would you like to see in LemmyNSFW?
1·3 years agoIt was called that, but it’s not the most obvious name for what it does!
Definitely enough, this is sexy as anything

Is auth short for authoritarian or authentic?
wankbank@lemmynsfw.comtoAsk Lemmy NSFW@lemmynsfw.com•Unable to login from Firefox Private window?English
1·3 years agoI’d previously found that I couldn’t log in from Firefox on Android, but I’ve just tried logging in to this account from a FF private window and it worked first time.
The set is Lingerie Rainbow from Emily Bloom, and the exact image I got from https://fapmash.com/abigale-mandler-nude-leaks/3/ although there are slightly smaller versions around without that massive watermark.
I understand the workload, even just finding content to bootstrap communities is taking more of my life than I want. Thank you for filling a hole in Lemmy when it was needed, I hope your replacement can keep the ship running as smoothly as this.
wankbank@lemmynsfw.comtoAsk Lemmy NSFW@lemmynsfw.com•Could it make sense to import posts from NSFW subreddits to kick start content?English
13·3 years agoThere was a discussion about this (specifically a reposting bot) and it’s pretty split between allow, disallow and allow only in certain subs. There are definitely a lot of communities here that are empty or nearly so, but I think most would rather see organic growth instead of automated reddit-cloning.
I have used reddit archives as one of the sources to find content to kickstart communities, but I assume you’re talking about something in bulk that’s a lot more automated.

1·3 years agoYeah, and the whole thing add up to 138.33% on yours. I see something more sane:

Lemmy NSFW@lemmynsfw.com•POLL: Should we allow content migration bots?English
2·3 years agoI voted no, although I nearly voted for the “only in certain comms” option. I’ve got the beginnings of a tool that will make it easy for people to select content from the reddit backups, but I didn’t intend to make it automatic, just something that helped people find content.

2·3 years agoIf it’s got its own API key, it’ll probably stay under the limits, and if not there’s other ways like RSS/Atom or web scraping.

Lemmy NSFW@lemmynsfw.com•POLL: Should we allow content migration bots?English
4·3 years agoThere is a setting on an account that says it’s a bot account and I think I remember seeing it mentioned after the username in a similar way to how nsfw posts are flagged.

What a view!
