1·2 months agoAh, thanks for the insight! I read the IPS mainly helps with the ghosting but also looks better than all the stock screens. But maybe this is just another instance of people getting stuck on details of minor importance instead of focusing on what matters: Having fun! (And I’m pretty happy gaming on my 3000, so…)
Are there really glass faceplates for the 1000? I checked some weeks ago and only found replacements for 2000/3000 (and whole plastic fronts for the 1000s - which can be modded but that seemed like a really annoying job)…
How’s the screen on your Go in comparison btw.?

2·2 months agoGet a Vita. It basically has a PSP built in. It’s super easy to hack too which will give you a ton of improvements and options (like remixed controls for some PSP games so you can enjoy them with twin sticks) - it’s awesome.

4·2 months agoA lot of good titles have already been mentioned but holy crap no one said MotorStorm: Arctic Edge? Such a great racer, very polished and it has unique mechanics and a ton of fun vehicles to make it worth your while.
Also: Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception. If you’re looking for an arcade flight sim, this one is for you. (I’d steer clear of it’s successor Joint Assault though.)

1·3 months agoI agree we need to get rid of all the bullshit you mentioned - but I don’t think giving up our anonymity or more gated communities (like facebook, twitter, instgram and all those fucked up places) are the solution.
Emo album cover vibes.

On Windows I use EAC, it’s great but requires a little work to set up. There are a lot of tutorials for it if course.

26·4 months agoNo.
I usually don’t engage with gov-stuff because this instance is running smoothly and the users (& crew) here steer it very well.
But on this I have to vote. Because historically if a left movement came into power, the dogmatic Marxists have always sought to persecute the other, especially more progressive (eg. antiauthoritarian), leftists - even if they cooperated with them before and/or helped the movement to succeed. There is a fascist wave and it is getting worse - but (left) authoritarians are not allies, they’re enemies (sooner or later).

TBH I was confused when I came across the term “sideloading” for the first few times because I thought it was something new. Part of the plan I guess. Damn.
