Thanks!
Too bad almost all public invidious instances disable the api interface so without self hosting I think it’s unusable
I grew tired of all of them and I’m using mullvad leta. Too bad they don’t support images but it’s the only one without ai. It’s not perfect and it crashes if you use “site:” but so far it’s working for me better than the others.

There is a “tap to summarise” in the mockup. I guess they think this feature will be used so much to justify an extra gesture. Also isn’t “apple intelligence” terrible at summarising?

Yes I read it, I just don’t like that the action of summarising is linked to the act of shaking. You’re maybe pretending to lose characters by the act of shaking and that’s the rationale but I see myself shaking my browser only if it does something unwanted

What is the connection between shaking and summarisation?
You don’t need to use vscode, any text editor is fine. Try to follow the getting started tutorial on microsoft’s website to see if your dotnet configuration is correctly installed. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/core/get-started
Jetbrains Rider free for personal use. You must use .net (core) on Linux, it works like a charm. Visual studio code is fine too but you need tons of plugins to have an IDE experience in .Net. You might have a problem with your .net installation id you can’t compile a simple program. How did you install .net? From microsoft’s ppa?

I don’t think Gecko is a requirement for the addons. The Orion Browser supports (many but not all) Firefox’s addons and its webkit. So it is feasible although probably hard to obtain a 100% compatibility. I still use Firefox on Ios because I prefer the UI but not all sites works well with it. Also the ios team at Mozilla is very small allegedly based on some public threads on the internet.

Oh wow thanks I didn’t know it, I am an iphone user since only recently. However most limitations come from ios limiting background services so I’m not sure how different this one is. Möbius also added experimental support for synching photos which is my main use case and I will have to investigate if sushitrain support this feature.

Möbius Sync for ios is pretty limited compared to the android syncthing client but it’s the only way to escape the tyranny of ICloud on Iphones

“Companies don’t make you the product because you don’t pay — they make you the product because you can’t stop them“

Webgl is also disabled

What AI model is that?

I don’t have a Samsung but I would imagine that this only blocks new installations and looks like that it can be easily disabled if you don’t want it

It’s in the article :
“Samsung’s Auto Blocker feature takes things a bit further. The feature, fully blocks the installation of apps from unauthorized sources, even if those sources were granted the REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES permission.”

Any example of useful LinkedIn resources? My employer pays for it but I never use it because I only see extremely low quality courses
I was using that :(
