    And many voted for him. As a veteran myself, I can’t imagine both holding the stance of swearing to defend the constitution and then voting for the guy who tried to overthrow it once before.

      And who has literally said in public that he considered suspending the constitution (not that that’s a thing, but he would try to do it).

        That was a different time. Patriotism was at a peak and most bought into the fabricated weapons of mass destruction evidence. At least long enough for it to be too late when we all realized it was all a lie.

          Ok, but they reelected the shitbag AFTER it was clear we were lied to for profit. Patriotism or not, we knew what happened.

    Seriously tho, all those National Guard gunboat operators and snipers around Maralago has gotta be thinking “What guarantees do I have after I’m done serving?”

    There’s no reason being in the military should guarantee you a federal job. But the idea is right; we should actually be taking care of these people.
