my personal opinion is that they should’ve included a texture pack type thing like the “programmer art” that only plays the old music (excluding music discs)
I personally like the new music, but sometimes if I’m playing for ‘the memories’ I would prefer the old ones only.

I’m not a fan of memes like this. The very premise is nonsense because the game is obviously not as simplistic as the game director is describing to the composer. So the whole premise falls on its face. Her score is compelling and complex because the game is compelling and complex.
It’s dumb to analyze memes this deeply but I am nothing if not dumb.
