Never fell asleep with rando around.
Was a strict rule I had because I had seen asshole classmates do the marker thing once and decided that would not happen to me.
Very few times I did let my guard down was with actual friends, and because it was decided I was gonna crash there. Otherwise I’d just power through the night.

Ran into my cousin and his friends at a festival 20 years ago. Came by their tent early morning and one dude was passed out outside so I covered him up with a blanket and tucked him in. Later on they were all thanking me profusely which I didn’t get. Turned out the kid was a skin cancer survivor and that morning ended up being brutally sunny and hot.
