I keep finding pebbles with a dark purple color. They are not too common, but I see them every now and then. The picture is the best I could get with my phone camera. I tried my best to recreate the color these rocks have:
Some are more of a dark purple, this one is a little more pink than usual.
Found in southern Finland.

Amethyst probably according to the slop machine. Do you happen to be near Siikainen, Satakunta region?
It’s possible that it’s garnet, if you hold it up to a strong light source, is it translucent at all?
