Even if we ignore the doodle

And that given all we know about about trump and Epstein, we know that the inside joke between them here is about pedophila, or at the very least about them being creepy misogynistic sex pests.

And let’s assume that despite everything we know about them that somehow this is about something inane, like a shared love of football, or model railroading, or going to McDonald’s for hamberders or something.

Can we agree that this is just a really fucking weird and creepy way to write a birthday letter? Someone tells you they’re going to put together a book of letters from friends for someone’s birthday and this is what you spit out? The script of some weird scenario you imagined where the two of you are responding to a voiceover and jerking each other off about your shared hobby?

If I got a letter, card, Facebook post, message, etc. like this from someone I know, I’d ask them if they’re alright because that’s a fucking weird way to send a birthday message.

This whole Epstein stuff is a test of how willing some people are to gargle balls and simply believe a “nope, didn’t do it” defense.

It’s been said time and time again, man could literally decapitate multiple people on national TV, camera zoomed in, and still drop the “nope, didn’t do” line at the end and his cult would agree.

      Yup.

Anyone still ignoring…fuck…where do I even begin? The probable pedophilia. The repeated violations of the Constitution. The felonies. The rape conviction. The open admission of sexual assault. The clear abuse of the stock market for his personal gain. Threatening American cities with the military.

It just goes on and on. Anyone still ignoring this is undeniably a traitor to the United States of America. So, basically, every fucking conservative in this country.

These people aren’t just misled anymore. They’re our enemies. They’re America’s enemies. Period.

It takes a lot of bravery for someone to come forward with an accusation against some nameless cretin in their hometown.

I’d imagine it would take a lot more bravery to come forward with an accusation against the most famous cretin of all time, especially when he can deport, imprison, or kill you or anyone you love, legally, with no recourse.

Everyone: Would you provide affordable healthcare, increase minimum wage, cancel student loans, defeat fascism and tax the rich?

Democrats: Best I can do is release Trump’s birthday doodle given to Epstein, and Newsom’s tweets trolling Trump.

Sorry to cut down the news, but Democrats really have to do more than just trolling Trump and Republicans. So far, I haven’t seen much serious efforts to roll back the fascism of Trump and Republicans.

There were enough Democrats on the House Oversight Committee to release the picture, but there aren’t enough Democrats in the House and Senate to accomplish all the things you’re asking for. All things I completely agree we need, but they require votes.

Edit: I replied to the wrong comment while quoting the portion from here that I agree with. This comment was in response to OP.

I don’t know, I don’t keep up with his die hard asshats on YouTube, you tell us.

When Trump said explicitly that he doesn’t want supporters that are obsessed with the Epstein stuff, that was a classic cult purge. He’s very much okay with losing people over the doodle, because the remaining die hard cultists will defend him to the grave, literally.

It isn’t “massively working”, he’s using it to consolidate power. Now before you downvote and run away, can you answer this comment:

Do Republicans have the numbers when they filibuster every popular proposals and bills? Dems should do the same if they are serious and whether they are in opposition or not.

All they do is performative bullshit, because like the oligarchs who bent the knee, they’re all on the same side. The genocide supporting Democrats are not holding back on using every available tool because they still believe in civility, they don’t try hard because people like you are happy to give them every excuse for their minimal effort performative bullshit. The levers are known, Republicans use them all the time, there is no excuse.

Polite Nazis are still Nazis. Demand better from your government.

Illustrating to his base that he’s not only a liar, but will go out of his way to throw any of them under the bus to corrupt our country is the goal.

Trump is well established to be a liar long ago, and he has been voted yet again and still has a substantial support base.

        It’s working. Massively.

Is it? The only reason Trump is getting more push back now is because his economic agenda pissed everyone off. Ultimately, what people care first and foremost is economic security. If the stock market hadn’t been shook and Medicare is not cut, people would not really bat an eye on what he does next.

Even what Democrats are doing is wanting to release the Epstein list and accuse the Republicans of being pedofiles, they still have not laid out their broader plan to address growing inequality and inflation. As we speak, even if Trump and Republicans are on negative approval rating, the Dems approval rating is not on the positive either albeit slightly higher.

If the focus is on throwing gossips and scandals are what Dems are going to do while the rich and powerful rob people while distracted by it, then maybe go back to high school. You don’t quite understand both the MAGA cult mindset who are beyond convincing, and what the salt of the earth everyday folks really need.

Even if Trump is disgraced beyond redemption, how is this going to put the genie back into the bottle that is fascism? Will the Dems address what made fascism take root in the US?

I don’t know. But do you know what won’t do that? Not voting or voting 3rd party.

          Need proof?

Everything since election day 2024 when we learned what happens when you don’t vote or vote 3rd party while an openly fascist party is circling the wagons.

So please, keep on bitching about Democrats while we’re knee deep in the consequences of not voting for them. You are being helpful…

You realize the American people essentially stripped Democrats of all power within our federal government after 4 years of meaningful legislation and solid recovery, right?

All they can really do is state level stuff, which they are. Newsom in California. Pritzker in Illinois.

Now I see why the bleeding heart liberal is a pejorative.

Was not having enough numbers for the Republicans not stop them from filobustering every popular policies that had been proposed? Did Chuck Schumer and Dems do the same when he allowed the big beautiful bill that gutted Medicare and welfare? So much for vOtE bLuE nO mAtTeR wHo nonsense.

You Americans today are embarrassing your progressive ancestors that stopped the Gilded age and put the Roosevelts in the White House. Because back then, opposition parties were actually oppositions, and people held their politicians accountable dearly. You mentioned you don’t know if Democrats will address what made fascism happen. They are suppose to be the good guys, right? You support them and they are the opposition. You should know what they are supposed to do.

People are not saying to vote third party, what people sane enough to see what’s wrong is to hold the Dems more accountable and actually for them to grow a spine instead of doing performative opposition all the time.

Bleeding heart is pure propaganda designed to frame someone who cares as stupid and unintelligent. This is of course the opposite of the truth. It is more doublethink brought to you by your masters and everytime you repeat it you give them more power.

The real progressives were run out of politics in the US during the McCarthyism crisis. They have never returned and we remained a fascist nation once again purging anyone who disagrees.

There are no good guys, just totalitarians versus neoliberals both fighting to control our imperial fascist oligarchy. When either of them win we all lose. The Democratic party has slightly more diversity of thought, but that ain’t saying much.

“Bleeding heart” for me is someone-- sorry for the lack of a better word-- who has certain naïveté. All going on about decorum but doesn’t have what it takes to take the gloves off when needed. Because evil never sleeps.

Americans have been conditioned to think within a carefully curated thought and frame by the capitalistic media to make normal folks timid.

People could go on about two party system, but look at other countries, they also have two party system but they successfully elect third parties and unafraid to hold their politicians not doing their jobs accountable. What happened to Americans who got rid of monopolies in Gilded age and getting third parties electing into congress and senate? That’s my point. Now, Americans are inactive. It only took cutting Medicare and crashing the stock market for people to do something. Before? Nada. And that’s the thing, people only mobilise if their personal interests are affected. The solidarity of the past has been gone.

It definitely is old propaganda anyways and not a term brought up very often anymore. I can see the nuance in your view in regards to naivete.

When I was younger it was often brought up when someone would talk about starving kids in Africa. Pundits would say, “another bleeding heart liberal” as a way to be dismissive and mocking of their feelings.

It was almost always women they would do it to as well. So ultimately it was a derogatory sexist way to dismiss the concerns of women on social issues.
