The Luigi dude used a 3D printed gun so all the lefties are suddenly in love with “ghost guns” until that story is forgotten and it’s time to ban them again.

tbf this is 100% a lefties v righties scenario lol, with guns it always has been

Banning firearms and making anti-gun laws has been one of the core pillars of the Democrat platform for decades now, and thankfully the last few years guns have become more mainstream so a lot of left-wing voters are starting to come around… unfortunately their voting hasn’t changed and they’re still voting for the exact same anti-gun politicians, so we’re going to see a lot of this at the state level until that changes

Been mostly lurking for a while now after a post there pointed me here. It’s insane to see the two spectrums of what 3D printing can do. I honestly did not think it would be at this level. Boy was I wrong.

Regarding NY going overboard with this, that was my exact worry the minute they said the weapon was printed. If it was or not, it made an all-to-easy perfect target. Hopefully some sane people will see this for the knee-jerk reaction it is.

It was pleasant to read those comments, surprisingly. Got used to seeing the bootlicker astroturf agents on the main Bambu sub

I’m in a bunch of normie subs that are surprisingly pretty based. I think the astroturfing has rolled back since the election results.

      Can’t believe it didn’t work.

I hope that people are finally waking up to the need for self defence and how giving up freedoms isn’t the path to a utopia you would want to live in.

I suspect it has something to do with the unexpected widespread popularity of a certain individual and some relevant hobbies of his.

Maybe the first time that 3D printed guns have been seen in a positive light by a large amount of the general populace. The world’s gotten real weird lately lol

Thank you Luigi for being the one who made us famous, rather than some looney tunes whacko that would have made us look bad

I ain’t thanking Luigi for the other thing though, because he didn’t do it (he was with me all day)

Yep. My first printer was an Elegoo, and I 99% of users in the Elegoo-specific subs were amazing.

I’d say most big subs. Always nice to find those little niche ones that are active.

Love my N3P to death. Have it running Klipper, Obico for reliable failure detection, and I’ve tuned it as much as I could with the stock parts. Setting up input shaping with an accelerometer was an absolute breeze too!

Their customer support has been excellent with me as well. If the Centuri Carbon performs just as good as my Bambu (without the sketchy closed source shit), I’ll definitely consider it.

We are exercising our constitutional rights as permitted by the amendment. The issue lies with the oppressive nature of the government and its subsidies.
