It’s bleak and hopeful, sad and beautiful, and the tracks just spell that out. Like the riff at the start is quite bleak, and there are many moments where you feel like there’s a “ray of light”. It’s quite short 40 minutes, the entire thing is unique.

We’ve got those depressing riffs at “O Brother”, that beautiful instrumental “Funus”, and the chilling and comforting vocals at “Humanity” and the end “Obliviosus”, so I played this yesterday without paying full attention to it. I played it this morning on random, and when “Obliviosus” came, you can feel that this is “Final track of the album” material.

Might as well read the description for the album

“This album was written about my brother and for my family. addiction, substance abuse, near death experiences, loss, grieving for the undead. Drugs that make you Oblivious to the pain it’s causing elsewhere.”
