I’ve heard people say Taco Bell is so greasy it gives them the shits, but I just don’t think that’s objectively true. You open up the classic bean burrito or taco and if anything it’s too dry, you need the sauce just to level it out. I’ve never actually known someone to have bathroom issues after taco bell. Real life experience just doesn’t agree with the joke.

I heard someone posit that people who say that are reacting to beans because they don’t normally get much fiber and their body can’t handle the sudden influx.

That said, taco bell isn’t good for the most part.

I have IBS and capsaicin has never been a trigger for me. I can eat spicy food all day and be fine, but if I even so much as look at a piece of romaine I’ll be on the toilet all evening.

I’ve heard a theory that it’s some sort of soy intolerance since the beef contains soy lecithin. Or it could be the oats. But I know that people have issues with items that don’t have beans.

I had issues afterward, but my best guess is that it was the flour tortillas + gluten intolerance. Even happened when I ate the potato tacos that had none of the powdered meat, beans, or plastic cheese in them.

I always used to hear these things in pop culture about both Taco Bell and Chipotle fucking up your stomach and representing some kind of test of physicality, and I thought it was supposedly because they were very spicy. And then I visited the US and tried them and discovered that no, it’s not spicy, it’s just extremely poor quality to the point of being unfit for human consumption.

The real answer is that a serving of beans has more fiber than half the US eats in a week, meaning people who order from Taco Bell suddenly have their guts doing what they’re supposed to do instead of the usual protien-and-fat shits.

        i take fiber pills

        the fiber isn’t the cause

it is the shit quality meat and poor sanitary conditions
