    Unfortunately, not as bad as my state. “In Oklahoma, employees under 18 years old who have not graduated high school, and students under 22 enrolled in school, can be paid below the standard minimum wage. The state minimum for these exempt, non-student, or minor workers can be as low as $2.00/hour”

    Not so fun fact; this has been the case over here in the Netherlands since at least the 1980’s. On a scale of 1 to 10, how progressive are we now?

        It’s very common, especially retail will pay the minimum and mostly schedule minors during weekends and evenings.
