To give you a perspective from outside the USA: Trump was elected the first time in 2016. Ten years ago. So if you’re a young person currently enlisted in the army, you did enlist voluntarily under Trump1. Or under Biden where you could see for years that that could mean serving under another MAGA presidency. Or maybe you did enlist under Trump2. So yeah, why shouldn’t everybody make fun of those fools who are voluntarily risking their lives for that?
Everyone has a choice to participate, even if the choices are really fucking shit.
