They weren’t crying because the milk spilt, they were crying because you can’t control your rage

Nah, I distinctly remember my little brother rage-crying when he spilled his milk over himself at breakfast as my mom comforted him and helped him clean up.

My “no need to cry over spilled milk” comment was NOT appreciated

relatable. I have really inconsistent problems with coordination so sometimes i move a bit too quickly and a plate of food or whatever goes FLYING and i just stand there for a minute calmly but firmly going “fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu get fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked” until the blazing rage has vented itself

It’s usually something like, “My parents didn’t treat me any better so I can’t be blamed for not being a better parent, especially in a new country”. I can understand why they are like that, but it doesn’t erase the trauma or what it did to me.

My dad would have shouted about being more careful and not wasting food you ungrateful kid. What a worthless child. Doesn’t know why you’re like this, he wasn’t like this when he was younger. Clean it up.
