Okay, so I did get as far as learning about

the upperclassmen’s domestic abuse situation, so I’m somewhat prepared for things to get kind of fucked up.
I am hoping the main couple’s relationship stays wholesome, though. Can only take so much toxic yuri, lol.

The toxicity is quite shocking, but what makes it hit so hard is that most of the time the manga is so sweet. Some stuff has happened to the main couple, but I don’t think it went too far or broke their wholesome vibe. It has so far balanced the darker elements and applied them quite tastefully.
That said, who knows what the future holds. I think it’ll have a positive outcome in the end, but the protagonists will continue to be tested.
