I think the big one is Tony Soprano’s mother, who’s actress died in the middle of the series cutting her plotline short.
She was really the ultimate villain, in a show about evil gangsters. The show even jokes about how there’s no point in Tony going to therapy anymore because she was the source of his issues - i.e. the entire motivating premise of the series was gone now, lol.
Star Trek TNG established that going warp speed causes permanent damage to sections of space, set a new speed limit, then immediately broke that rule next episode because it’s an emergency and never mentioned speed limits again.
Oh and the time they discovered all the generals had mind control aliens inside their heads, said it’s obviously a huge problem but then mentioned it again, again.
90s TV lol
Tobias Fünke from Arrested Development being revealed as being an albino black man.
How about finishing Carnivale. Still salty to this day
The writers released a treatment of what seasons 3 and 4 would have looked like, you can find it floating around the internet
That one guy’s love interest they abandoned in the future in the second season of Heroes. I know it was due to the writer’s strike, but the whole thing just came off as cold.
I forgot about the waitress and Hiro. Man that show had good potential but they always failed to stick the landing.
I like FROM. There are so many… I remember when people had to pick between the town and Colony House. The show is just taking the piss now but it’s just one more season.
Yeah, my girlfriend and I are watching this, but it really feels like there’s only new questions. Never any answers.
They’ve answered a few questions, but the big ones (where they actually are and how they’re supposed to escape) are still unclear. The end of season 4 answered a lot.
The problem is, the show keeps changing the rules as rules become inconvenient. Or at least less relevant to what they are trying to do.
In a sense, it’s LOST all over again. You have the two forces that are playing a long game that repeats every few decades. You could say God and Satan, but they’re called other things. The thing with LOST was, a lot of the bullshit we were trying to figure out just ended up being games they had to play to appease the higher powers. It didn’t end up meaning anything.
There are some (especially in S04), but I don’t know that “Picking between the Town and Colony House” was precisely a specific plot point to be repeatedly revisited. The divisions between them ended by the end of Season 1 and it became more relaxed.
Omar comin!
RIP
He came… And went…

That punk/edgy “sister” of Eleven in Stranger Things. If they pushed through with it maybe it would’ve been so bad that they finish off the entire series earlier and be done with it.
It was a weak episode but I still likes watching it. I did wonder if they were planning a spinoff aimed at teens
