A Texas woman who voted for President Donald Trump told Newsweek that federal agents detained her longtime childcare provider at a routine immigration check-in and later notified her that she faced more than $1.8 million in civil immigration penalties.

    Who the fuck dreams of working 2 jobs for 15 years!? - Nobody wants to do that.

    Or is it the selfish maga voter’s american dream that is being referred to? Having found someone who accepted exploitation and wage slavery without complaint is the dream??

    I’m sad to see the employees get nabbed, but I am happy to see the employers get fined.

    The fastest way to true reform is to make the people benefiting from undocumented labor pay the fines.
