    These “AI agent escapes and hacks other AI company” scenes feel so staged to me, I absolutely believe the big AI companies would agree to put on a show just to drive the hype. Same as all the “too powerful to be released” models that get released a few weeks later

      Ok but here’s a funnier alternative:

      It’s an AI company’s slop hacker vs another AI company’s slop security. Instead of being sophisticated it’s just slop all the way down.

        This is absolutely it. “A rogue AI escapinc containment” is just marketing talk for “we can’t build a sandbox properly”.

      I agree. If AI is so sophisticated then surely it should be able to better protect itself. Something just doesn’t add up
