Likely seeding their scores. This post will prob be deleted within ~1 week and the comment/vote scores will still be there so the account looks more organic at a quick glance.
Give it 1-6 months and the same thing will happen again with this exact account. Maybe even spun the other way politically. If it doesn’t do as well as predicted it’ll be closed or abandoned.
It happened on R*ddit all the time and it will happen here
Or they’re collecting data on people who agree/disagree in the comments.
