politics @lemmy.world•You don’t need to be a liberal to oppose Trump’s ICE | You just need to care about your own constitutional rights.
4·2 months agoYeah, that really frustrated me because they’ve killed literally dozens of people in the last year. That said, it got people moving, which is at least something.
I love Zoe Baker! I’m still working through Means and Ends, but I can imagine every line in her voice.
I feel like a lot of Superorganism is jellyfish-y, but in a psychedelic way.

4·4 months agoBeen playing Blue Prince and loving it. Also working on Mega Man Legends 2 since I’ve never played it despite playing the first one like 5 times.
As an American, I super support this.
That is like .3% of our GDP, though. Not saying those numbers directly relate, but I think it’s a much smaller dent than 90 billion seems like it should be.
Oh, totally agreed. It’s just not in the way the person in the post cares about.
I agree that most anti-GMO stances are silly, but Cavendish bananas aren’t GMO. (The history of major banana cultivars is super interesting, though!)
Conspiracy Circus Sideshow at the Learned Lemur is cool. Not sure if it’s art, but it’s definitely performance!
I recently just recruited my first trader. No more pawnbrokers for me!
CrossCode was this for me. An unexpected gem

3·6 months agoI think the nuance here is that lacking a house doesn’t mean you’re lacking a home. A home is a much more complicated idea that involves family or community for many people, whereas a house is just a thing by contrast.
That said, my understanding is that most people find the terms roughly equivalent, and I’ve never been either, so I might be misunderstand it.
Mostly, I’ve been fed up with music streaming platforms recently, and found that Jellyfin also supports my other media cases. I started with Navidrome, but had a computer running Mint already, so I just ran both side-by-side and find I liked Jellyfin better. They both took like 15 minutes to set up; getting my local VPN running and convincing people to use it was by far the hardest part of the setup.
That all said, I’m a software engineer in my day job, so I had a pretty good idea about how to navigate everything.
All individual logins. It just requires making an account through the UI, which is pretty quick.
In addition to the UI others have mentioned, I host mine behind a VPN so all my friends can use it over the Internet, too. It gets a decent amount of traffic every week.

Yeah, like… I think I agree with most of that, but I really want any of that to represent me.
