How do people who overthink every aspect of their life buy property? I’m down in the Frankston/Seaford area today wondering if I’m an idiot for even considering trying to buy down here. Do I just stick with what I know and continue to be possibly unhappy in an apartment in the inner city suburbs?

Cool change seems to have arrived early here in Fitz. 22degrees and as long as the sun stays hidden I’ll be happy.

Feels. I did leave my apartment for a couple of hours but have found myself in the worst head space I’ve been in for a while today/tonight. Not sure what’s going on.

I love my cotton blanket. Mum has been picking them up from op shops the last few years. Heavy enough as I need to sleep with some weight but still cool enough to use in summer.

I’ve seen ads for those cooling blankets but haven’t been game enough to make the jump.

Napped the day away and now I have a headache and regrets.

I feel like it might need some spokey dokes as well to really bring out the color of the unicorn bell.

What in the hot windy sunny rain is going on outside.

Congrats!!! I’m at the other end of the process and I’m about to have my first meeting with my mortgage broker so I’m terrified.

Slept with the portable AC on last night and still slept pretty terribly. Looks like it’s going to hit max temp at around 2pm today and start cooling down. I’m thinking I’ll have to leave some of my windows open today if my apartment has any chance of cooling down after all this hot weather.

Rain has finally hit Fitzroy. Now if only it would drop 5 degrees.

Got busy last weekend making a window panel for my portable AC. Current me is grateful for past me.

I was thinking about going but after being in an un airconned Royal Exhibition Building all day I don’t think I can do another unairconned venue.

Love walking near my window freaking out thinking that the heater underneath it has accidentally been turned on, only for me to realise it’s the heat coming through my blinds 🥵

Yeah I’m hoping there will be a bit of a breeze to move some of the hot stale air around once I open everything up.

I never would have thought I’d prefer to stay in Queensland weather wise but even with humidity I’m regretting booking my flight back to Melbourne for tonight. I suppose I’ll miss a day of it but my apartment is going to be a hotbox when I get back.

Back in the office today before heading up to Brisbane for 5 days. How am I supposed to nap with other people around? 😴

It’s horrid, I gave it three opportunities because it’s around the corner. I should have known the first time when it came out with chips underneath.
