Not worth the effort. Been down that road. Redlib fixes, Reddit breaks again, over and over and over.
Empires rise, empires fall. You won’t have to worry about Lemmy getting huge, though. Companies don’t see any method of controlling us with propaganda here, or Mastodon so there’s little incentive to even try, and most people have shown that they have little care for their own privacy, security or identity.

9·23 小时前That’s how you make new targets for the war effort. The country of war is just seeding a larger marketplace. The more people aiming a gun at the US, the more they can justify their own; endless cycle of bloodshed fueled by money and capitalism.
None of that is new, btw. We’ve had three Democrat Presidents for two and a half full terms and none of that has ever backpedaled since Desert Storm. It’s just how the US war-state operates.
One side: We need to avoid war
Other side: War is the entire point, Dept. of War, etc and so forth.
I don’t think they want to be diplomatic. Trump’s cabinet is basically like Andy Dick walking up to a bar. He wants a drink, sure, but it’s not what he’s there for.
