Hot Shots - Part Douche: The 3th One

It’s moments like this where we can see how much copoganda really affected some people’s perspective on the world. I am willing to bet there is no small part of this person‘s reality that they don’t think is straight out of a Tom Clancy novel, and they are the forces of good and justice.
I guess being realistic with where we are now, straight out of an Amazon TV Tom Clancy series.

Beyond Oasis on the Genesis should fit the bill.

Love that Lovage baby. That album is a gem.

I always think of Dunbar’s Number when talking to people about large friend groups on social media.
It’s worth using as a tool to understand what 800 friends might actually mean in reality.

I’d really like to hope it’s a genuine effort to preserve history.
There’s a lot of history on Steam and losing it to dead os’es sucks. I know my account has a few hundred games that are a pain in the ass to get running on modern hardware without PCGamingWiki, ModDB, Widescreen Gaming Forums, etc…
Be cool to have them plug and play under proton.
You’d have the exact same 100% response for how I met your mother as well.

Recently caught “grandson” live. Bob Vylan was supposed to be their touring partner but then… facism. They’re not traditional punk in their sound but carry a lot of those ethos lyrically. The more recent stuff is like modern rage against the machine (and the show felt like those did way back)
Anyways, it was really inspiring to see a new generation embracing those ideas and sharing in them communally.

What’s xdkc?!
Kid Rock makes music for people that know the age of consent in every state.

How are people in a gaming community on lemmy unaware of what this is? These comments are ridiculous.
Survival crafting. I spend my real life days trying to keep up on sheltering and feeding myself. I don’t want to “relax” by punching trees to make a fire to cook a bird I punched to death.
The pervasiveness of this in every game has limited the content I engage with the last 10 or so years. Everyone started chasing that Minecraft money and now it’s Ubi-fied into just about every mainstream title.
I don’t want to forge new weapons. I want to find them in a chest or earn them by killing a boss. I have bounced off of so many games the moment they ask me to learn a system of crafting. Keep that in it’s own genre and stop padding games out with repetitive busy work.

Just saw him on tour last week and it was great.

I run Linux on my regular systems with an occasional dabble in reaper on it.
On the flip side, I run ableton on Mac for a couple of touring projects and could never move off of it.
Reaper is a fantastic tool, I’ve had a license for years and really respect what they’re doing. But if you’re doing anything besides home production for fun, it’s just not there yet.

After spending the past 2 hours trying to get Banishers running on Linux, I’ll say no if that is something that interests you. What a shit show.
Maybe prioritize learning to read over procreation. There will be plenty of kids available when you’re ready.

It will parallel the push to Windows365 in the enterprise space. Thinking in terms of hardware only misses the internal goal at Microsoft of locking everyone in to Azure hosted services where they have unlimited access to your data for CoPilot training.
THAT is their strategy. TPM requirements, kernel locking and secure boot are baby steps to the end goal. It’s not about Xbox, it’s about training data for their GenAI platforms.
Additionally, their Prism Emulation Engine is running Xbox games natively on ARM hardware as of a few days ago (insider preview users at least)

I believe the exact verse is:
“And that’s the bottom line because Stone Cold said so.”
I can’t say for certain they are but I’m of the same generation as him and grew up around conservatives that considered that type of “America at any cost” media to be sacred texts.
When you scratch the surface on it, it’s all just thinly veiled jingoism in a glossy suit. Hence homeboys desire here to have a “cool guy” jacket with unearned valor on it.
It’s 100% about the optics at the photo op after the real work has been done by someone trained and qualified.
