  • ER employee here, multi-hour wait times aren’t caused by people without insurance seeking care, they’re caused by admitted patients taking up all the ER rooms. The ER would function great even with pretty substantial patient volumes because many of the primary-care tier complaints can be seen and discharged relatively quickly, many not needing anything more than a closet to speak in private for 10 minutes and imaging or prescription. In the hospital I work at, and every hospital in the city, and probably every hospital in your city, the floor that holds the most non-ER patients is the ER.

The reason for this is because shit runs downhill, and there’s not enough inpatient infrastructure because it’s expensive during the summer to have excess beds not in use just to have a reserve for flu season. This matters because even nonprofit hospitals are run to make money to pay our CEO ~50x more than the lowest paid employee, which- while a respectable ratio compared to most- is wholly unnecessary. nobody needs a multimillion a year paycheck except perhaps pediatric surgeons with a good bedside manner.

I just… tried a bunch. Alexandra was my first, used it for about 6 months online. Didn’t like it. Too harsh. Then I tried Sarah, felt better, new test group… but wasn’t right. Unsure why, just wasn’t me. Tried Amanda, and that was it.

The downside of this is you have to make disposable friend groups. I made mine on old internet kink websites, a few focused on like… pre-written “teases”. It kept things fairly transactional and anonymous so there wasn’t any relationships to break, just another content creator disappearing

Hey, if hips are something you want, you need to start HRT as soon as possible. Once your bones are set they don’t really change, only fat distribution (which does help, as well as the workout tips mentioned by the other commentator.

It’s been my experience (at 30) that estrogen doesn’t change my body, only the directions it follows when I work to change it, so I very heavily concur with the workout advice!

i feel like it’s more a diagnosis of last resort than something to jump to first off, especially if it doesn’t really line up with your usage, but I’m not sure what else it could be if the doctors don’t think those meds/combination of meds would cause nausea.

I’m on 6mg estradiol daily, 100spiro for 2 years, and new progesterone, with no nausea. Never been on the other stuff you mentioned tho

  • Not really, but kind of. I was always interested in women and men, but realizing i was trans helped me understand what i was feeling towards women was jealousy not sexual attraction. Unfortunately being attracted to men as a transwoman is kind of a nasty catch22 as my hands were too big for the straight men and the gay men really just wanted a twink. (generalizing here, not all men, etc etc)

So I became mostly aromanic, satisfied with just like… flings with guys online. soft catfishing for quick e-sex, and then I met my girlfriend, who makes me feel like I’ve never loved anyone except her. And we lived happily ever after
