Definitely don’t think chromebooks are going to be slaughtered, I happen to know that our school system spends less than 200 dollars per chromebook with the deal they get from HP.

I think this same computer at 699, or even 799, would have been a total home run for Apple.
599? and if this is anything like the mac mini deals in the high 400s will be possible.
Genuinely great deal for a majority of people.’
I think people who don’t think this don’t realize how fucking awful cheap pc laptop’s still are.
wait for new macbooks releasing this week whatever you do

don’t make broad assumptions like this
I’ll add that I’d love an app that can specifically filter for campsites that aren’t for rvs.
making an item accessible to being searched for is a form of advertising
also keep in mind that what teenagers (including me) tell adults is often not what we actually think, for various reasons
i can assure you that my impression of the youth is more encompassing than yours
i am the youth, nobody thinks this and in fact playing with a game console versus a phone is in fact even a fashion or cultural statement that people think is cool
chromebooks are often well built with good keyboards at prices monumentally lower than comporable laptops, whilst being powerful enough to run linux well
you can quite easily get linux on almost all chromebooks, even arm ones (mrchromebox and postmarketos are references to look into for that) (postmarketos for arm stuff)
I have an hp chromebook g7 that I paid less than 20 dollars for, which has a good keyboard and is performant enough for firefox and typing on swaywm. it’s worth so little and is so light that it can just live in my backpack without worry. it’s also able to be charged from a normal usb c phone charger, supports usb c display output, and has a low power celeron that absolutely sips power
you can get much nicer chromebooks for cheap too if you’re into that, including some with unibody aluminum chassis and high resolution ips displays, all at prices less than even bottom barrel pc laptops
if ur able to have a checklist and force yourself to check it and write on it daily you can kinda have everything else fall in place around it
vehicles are required to have flatish noses because of laws designed for sedans to prevent cars from being wedge shaped and cutting pedestrians legs off, which applies to all sizes of car
the “pushed in muzzle” is because of pedestrian safety requirements ironically

The VPS I rent from Ionos for tunneling is $2 a month just so you know it’s not a major amount of money.
