I don’t think so. I struggle to think of any devs other than id, valve, respawn or DICE/Embark that can make FPSs as solid and complete as CoD.

and even when it’s bad, it’s still better than 95% of what the rest of the market can put out
i do think the franchise is on borrowed time though
single player games? yeah, especially if I’ve already beaten the game
other times I’m just skipping tedious grinding
definitely never in mp games

Don’t use Ansible and use Nix instead.
Seriously though give yourself time and a solid goals you want to achieve, it’ll take time and it’ll be worth it as

I’m in the same boat, I have a Plex pass, I have my reverse proxy setup, Plex just works ™ and when it stops, Jellyfin is already installed and ready to go.

2 remake is one of my favourite games of all time. 4 remake looks great too but never played. Not too interested in 7 and 8 but I’ll try them if the time is there

I don’t mind size so long as there’s meaningful activity.
For example, Just Cause 2 is huge with a massive variety of biomes but I enjoy hijacking military jets and blowing shit up on repeat and general traversal.
Infamous 2 and Second Son have very neat and small maps that are action packed and fun to traverse.
But then other open world games just bore me.

WHY A FIGHTING GAME!!!
they could make a game about pro-bending!!! and other actvities/sports in the avatar universe
seriously a 3v3 pro-bending game would be awesome

It was good value in the short term…but anyone capable of forecasting longer than 36 months knew instantly it was an awful deal, even compared to someone who had Playstation Plus and its free games + discounted games since the Sony hack in 2011 and doubly so compared to someone who bought Humble Bundle instead.
In Uncharted 4 there’s an achievement called “Ludonarrative Dissonance” which is awarded after killing a number of enemies lol.

only played the second! due a playthrough of the first

How much (GB/TB) is not much btw?
I need to get around to backing up via Backblaze

I have no more wants of Immich, it does everything that I need lol

Ocarina of Time Master Quest on PSVita Death Stranding 1 on PC Valorant BF6 beta but admittedly I don’t like the game anymore sadly :(

Oh man, you’re in for a treat! it’s one of my favourites for sure
Not the same but is certainly valid as a way to enjoy the game.
I watch loads of Mario Maker 2 stuff but have never touched the game since I don’t have a Switch
Yeah, honestly, what was wrong with games releasing Demos?
I think a lot of games would do well if they also bundled limited demos of other games with them too like back in the old days.
Until it gets a robust single player I’m not bothering with it, which is unfortunate
I just need someone to remake TLoU Factions on a free to play multiplayer network. Genuinely baffled me that ND didn’t include it in the remake.
TLoU Factions is everything I want in a multiplayer PvP “Survival” game.
In Factions, your performance earns you “supplies” which you use to grow or shrink your base over 12 matches and “events” happen in which your performance over three matches is evaluated to again grow or shrink your base.
Every 12 matches, the base resets and you start again. But after a while you stop caring about the base (because all the achievements tied to it are unlocked) and you start playing for fun and the perk system allows for a lot of skill expression and niche crafting.
Players can naturally become ninjas with smoke bombs and shivs, or healers/gifters, snipers, brawlers etc. and the parts systems is balanced in such a way to provide a comeback for weaker players/teams where necessary but in a way that’s fair.
The game-to-game gameplay is the same though: 1) fight for map control and rotations of lockbox spawn points that contain crafting items for each of your teammates individually - centre one holds the most/rarest items; 2) craft items to help your battle - these persist on death after crafting; 3) Complete the team objective: eliminate the enemy team or capture their stronghold.
It’s the best fucking loop, I can’t really describe it and I really wish I didn’t need PS Plus to play it.
