yeah, g2 does nothing… it’s also not mentioned in the docs. 2gt, gT, J and 2K work as expected but are relative. Do you have version 2.4.2 too?

This is really weird. I’ll have to check on a different distro. I’m currently on fedora and firefox was already installed.

1. ctrl+T/C/V (new tab, copy, paste) work as expected and all other shortcuts including ctrl and alt work as well
2. I’ve installed a keyd for switching alt+mod otherwise it’s a pretty fresh install
3. I started firefox in --safe-mode and got the same behavior. But thanks helping me trouble shoot.

I made the switch from i3 to kde with https://github.com/tilorenz/compact_pager and keyboard shortcuts similar to tiling WMs. Check out my config for keyboard shortcuts for window management with curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jowodo/config/refs/heads/main/plasma/window-managment.kksrc | grep -v '=$'. You could even import them into your kde settings and they will be added. PS.: yes I use meta AND alt, because I also use windows (where alt is my mod key) and macos (where option is my mod key) at work.
