I grew up in Boise and this is hyperbole. At best, the panhandle (where nobody lives) has a nazi problem, not the whole state. People harping on this sound just like the conservatives who think Chicago is a lawless hell hole.
It’s just everywhere I’ve lived. The less densely populated it gets, the greater it’s right wingedness.
You can thank AM radio for that, at least partially.
Moved to a more spread out area from South Florida. Tried am for an hour or so bored one night. And yeah, it’s nothing but right wing and Christian bs.
Road trip stops for gas and, oddly enough, rural antique stores are my prime exposure to AM radio. Shit is unhinged.
Hey, me too! I also lived in Moscow for a time and during that time went all around northern Idaho. I encountered plenty of your standard issue Idahoan dipshits but never any overt neo-nazis.
When did you live there? They only started coming out of the woodwork post 2016 but especially later.
