    I love how they pretend the constitution is like the bible and they can just make up whatever they want it to mean.

    The measure argues that the decision establishing the constitutional right of same-sex couple to legally marry is “at odds with the Constitution of the United States and the principles upon which the United States is established.”

      Everything is like the bible to them. If it can get them what they want, they’ll use it.

    Just to clarify, they weren’t voting to overturn same-sex marriage. They’re voting on whether to formally request that SCOTUS overturns their own decision that federally legalized it in the first place. This measure is identical to one passed last year that didn’t go anywhere in SCOTUS.
