What a time traveler should really do is go back in time and kill Gavrilo Princip’s parents before he was born.
No matter how this ends, he’s going to leave the world a much worse place than before. No telling how this is all going to play out but some very very bad scenarios are definitely on the table.

The problem is that they’d cause a paradox by killing him, destroying their timeline and causing them to never travel back so their attempts are doomed to fail.
