Ours loved each other for months and now they’re mortal enemies.
Maybe they were identical so they didn’t realise there was another cat in the house until much later after a freak accident with them walking into the same room with a mirror on the floor.
I have two cats from the same litter a male and a female, and my next door neighbour has a cat that looks exactly like them. Their friends, and I’m not entirely convinced that the more stupid of the two hasn’t realised that the neighbours cat isn’t his sister. He’s deadly afraid of my car keys, so I wouldn’t put anything past him.
Or… Your husband discovered the 2nd cat the day after you got it, got rid of it, and you never noticed.

I look at my desktop so little I just treat it as a folder for things that need be temporarily stored. The fact it appears on the screen behind whatever I have open is a non-issue.
It’s just how Mac uses seem to lay things out. It’s always a desktop full of icons.
Hm… Is that just because of the type of users who use macs, or is it an indictment of Mac OS’s file management user friendliness?
This is how iPhones always look to me too, and it’s always mind boggling… This is what people want their phone’s home screen to look like? Really?
My desktop is like that. Code repos are tightly structured. There are warring instincts going on.
Everyone knows you just keep files in /downloads.

Yeah, I stopped using desktop icons altogether somewhere around Windows 7 days.
