I expect mcd doing the math and throwing a full scale investigation if delivery of x nuggets did not led to the sale of x/10 boxes.
I mean things can get damaged in transit or go bad or anything else, so not really. Maybe if everyone in the MCD did so (since 10 to 11 is a ~9% reduction in sales), but if it’s only this guy it’d easily go unnoticed.
I spend about 5-8,000$ every 3 days on ordering those fucking nuggets. I have around 0.13% go missing each month. That amounts to about 1,400$ worth of lost nuggets (in sale cost, not product cost).

If you average the cost range, you’re spending around $65,000 on nuggets monthly.
If 0.13% is equivalent to $1,400 in lost sales, then your store would sell $65K of nuggets for $1,076,923.
That’s ~16.6 times the original price. Considering most restaurants operate at around a 3-4x markup, that’s huge!
Yeah, McDonalds is a total ripoff. The cheap stuff is pennies on the dollar for what you actually pay for at the counter.
You could realistically halve prices and still come out with a marginal profit.
Waste (gone bad) is equal likely to be administred. That much damage stands out and would lead to corrective procedures (read, investigated and taken from your paycheq). “We’re not made of money! Just so you know” /s
Yeah, well I worked at McDonalds for four years and I’d always put 30 nuggets in a 20-piece!
I believe I was on the receiving end of one of these acts of magnitude. I was pretty drunk at the time, but I remember looking down and muttering, “Huh. Eleven.”
Bad. He should put 9 instead, ruining the enemy’s reputation from the inside.
