That would be sick. I’m sure someone in the SCA has tried. I just know that some very real technique is on display in that scene with Wesley and Inigo.

Was in for several years. Fenced with rapier and cape. I wasn’t bad either. I miss it sometimes, but life is too busy, SCA participation is both time and money intensive.
If you read Cary Elwes’ book, he goes into detail about the fencing. A good book overall
