I wanted to post something to mark the occasion. It’s felt like a very long wait but I finally have estradiol and cypro in my system. Fear has been steadily giving way to excitement. I’ve been getting steadily more confident in my identity and the doubt monster in my head is getting smaller and quieter in the face of overwhelming evidence that I am in fact a woman.

I wanna briefly reflect on how grateful I am to other trans people. People that don’t know me, that don’t owe me anything, have helped me in countless ways, big and small. Some have helped it without realising it just by being themselves in a proud and unapologetic way. Some have given me time and energy and resources and support that have saved my life. I will forever carry around a debt I’ll never be able to repay and I’ll be trying to pay it forward at every opportunity I get.

It’s is the honour of my life to be in community with you all, with all my trans siblings around the world.

Trans liberation now. Love and solidarity for ever.

Edit: thanks for the lovely replies everyone. Love to you all.

I remember waking up with a huge smile on my face for three days in a row when I started hrt.

    It saves lives.

Congrats! So happy for you babe. May you slay that doubt monster and make some sick +1 armour out of its hide.

Come join us on the Blahaj matrix if you aren’t already and need some people to talk to and ask questions.

Today is a special day. Never forget how badass you are for looking in the dark places and helping the little girl inside get free. 🫂❤️‍🩹💪

    Ahhhhh congrats!!!

I remember the biggest thing when i started was just how empty my head could be. Used to be my mind never stood still, and anxious thoughts were always there. When i started almost immediately i noticed i can just sit there. Or read, work on something, etc etc. Without getting distracted by my brain.

I love it! I wish you the best in your journey and hopefully its helps you as much as it has helped me and the rest of us ❤️❤️

Honestly, I have no idea how much is placebo since it’s so early but I have been riding high these last two weeks. I feel like actually alive.
