I used to have a pair of good quality but well used cowboy boots, I mostly wore them with boot-cut low-waist jeans and a check shirt that was not very buttoned up over a lacy bra … so, slutty cowgirl, lol

It was ideal for when I went to a lesbian bar regularly :-)

I don’t have the boots any more, but miraculously do still have a straw cowboy hat from that time

I’d grab my beloved pair of leather hiking boots instead. I’m a little too far up north for cowboy boots. There’s connotations for sure, but sometimes boots are just boots, and some people really pull them off.

I’m thinking denim jeans and a button-down with a necklace (I’m visualizing a pocket watch necklace for some reason) is a nice look. And then a denim jacket for more layering, but in a different color from the jeans. But not for me, personally.

Oh! I had a super cute dress that would have looked PERFECT with those boots. It was a short navy blue dress with an open lace on the top half of the back and a cute braided belt of the same color as those boots. Then I’d wear my denim jacket with it.

I wore something similar to a friend’s 50th birthday party that had a country western theme. So much fun!!

If I ever find a pair of high heeled boots that fit my clown shoe proportioned feet I will wear them with every outfit.
