Establishment Dems throwing trans folk away to appease the ever elusive independent voters?

No way…

I know how to play the game; what idiocy my voting record tacitly supports. But when it is a matter of voting for actual fascism, I know what the only option is.

The fact that establishment Dems are attempting, and in some cases succeeding in striking us from the ballot box, throwing our struggle and existence away, as well as sabotaging anything that might smell left of center, goes to show why so many of us are moving further and further leftward. If I had the money, time, and better looking history, I’d be out there attempting to be that change. But alas, I am check-to-check in a non-union (hostile) shop.

If progressives who don’t abandon trans people weren’t regularly polling better than the centrists I’d take this seriously. You need a winnable platform to make any progress at all. But the numbers are not particularly supporting the reality the old guard is projecting.

Accuse? Honey, that’s how electoralism looks like.
