Unironically, walking everywhere helps a lot. I went on a month long trip to Japan and was doing minimum 15000 steps a day. When I got back, literally everyone noticed my hips were significantly thicker.

Bodyweight squats and yoga also help a ton, but require a bit more effort obviously.

Unfortunately, thank CAFE regulations. It’s basically impossible to make a tall boxy car in the US that meet the regulations, because fuel efficiency targets are based almost purely on how long and wide the car is. It’s way easier to make a car bigger than it is to make it more fuel efficient, so unfortunately that’s what manufactures have to target.

While I’m all for efficiency regulations, CAFE is so unbelievably stupid that it desperately needs to be reworked.

The other huge reason for going solid is long term storage and reliability. Solid engines are basically just a giant rubber eraser (Polyurethane) with a blend of 11 herbs and spices (oxidizers, etc), and thus are a lot easier to keep sitting unattended in remote silos for decades but still be ready to launch at a moments notice.

For a penthouse in downtown? It’s steep, but not entirely out of the question. There’s a nearby 2200sqft unit that sold for about $900/sqft, so $1400/sqft for a massive penthouse isn’t unbelievable. I doubt they’ll quite get that, but wouldn’t be shocked if it sells for over $5mil.

Even as someone who’s only a year into transition, I get a LOT more stares in a men’s room than I do a women’s room (which is actually zero) at this point. I have a good friend who was already pretty femme pre-transition and if she’s in a men’s room, guys will absolutely turn around and check the sign. As much as people think they can instantly clock a trans person, it’s far less the case than you might think, and a trans man going into a women’s restroom is going to be a problem just as the opposite is true.

Having a theater subscription has definitely made going to movies far more enjoyable tbh and one of the only subscription type services I have anymore. If we’re talking about the radar+cameras, it’s about $30-40 each. Not insignificant, but for basic AEB it’s a small price for something that massively reduces collisions

Also them removing radar, which while having its own flaws (as does LIDAR), is a great compliment to cameras and is the industry standard for a reason.
