I recommend it! Thai people are super direct about things and not very sensitive so it might be a little weird at first. For example, a Thai person will call their friend fat to their face if they’re overweight in friendly banter and it’s acceptable because that person is actually fat and they know it and laugh along with their friend. It’s why the term “lady boy” isn’t a perjorative there. For Thai people it’s just someone who is trans and hasn’t had any operations. They call themselves that loudly and proudly and if you don’t like it then fuck you is basically the give. I love it and they were some of the most fun people I’ve met.

Thailand is my favorite place for trans culture (aside from bro exploitation behavior from tourist). I love that Thai people just do not care or judge, it’s just a normal thing.

Yeah that presidential primary last election rocked, can’t wait for the next one.

Man I remember when Bernie was in the primaries. It was totally normal and he didn’t win for totally normal reasons in spite of the very cool democratic party supporting him.
