Birth rates are falling, because raising kids is darn expensive.

Make it easier for people to raise kids (take the money from billionaires, provide daycare, increase pay so one person can afford providing for the family) and people will be more eager to have kids.

I would take that further and say have one parent have enough money from one job so either parent can stay home.

That’s what I meant when say that one person can afford to provide for family. But I guess the way you said is clearer.

Yeah I’ll go ahead and blame my eyes (need to get my fucking reading glasses) for missing a whole word there.

Either way - yeah, sexual attraction has fuck all to do with the birthrate.

And because a great career, fancy title, expensive cars and many Instagram pics of exotic locations will get you a lot of status and respect, while having a few kids gets you at best some sympathy.

It also doesn’t help how you used to have tightly knit communities where everybody helped with children and kids were often free roaming. Now kids can’t go out without supervision, everywhere there are heavy vehicles at high speed and law enforcement gets involved “for the good of the child”.

Birth rates are inversely proportional to the quality of life in a country. There are higher birth rates in poorer countries.

That’s because in poorer countries kids are extra hands to work, but in industrialized countries it became really hard to have kids even for people that want them, because they live from paycheck to paycheck.

Don’t forget easier access to contraceptives, sex ed, and other forms of entertainment beyond sex. Netflix and chill is a lot more likely to turn into “No, wait, this show is actually really good” than “I’ve got a bucket of chicken. Wanna do it?” is to turn into “No, wait, this chicken is actually really good, let’s not have sex.”

Less accidental pregnancy, especially among teenagers, is a huge deal when it comes to the birth rate slowing down. As is people wanting a smaller family size and waiting to have a kid until they’re ready.

Twink gets railed by his transsexual goth girlfriend, gets himself boypreggers. Has to go to the boynecologist and get a BOYBORTION! Many such cases!

Somehow I don’t think that birth rates are low because boys don’t want to have sex.

You would be surprised. Overall risk taking behavior has been dropping with the younger generations, including things like drinking, drugs, and sex.

If you simply describe sex as risk-taking, I feel like the context you stripped away has made the statement mostly devoid of meaning.

Is this chucklefuck implying that there aren’t enough horny men out there to keep birth rates high?

Pretty sure that’s not the problem…

If thigh highs increased birth rates, Japan wouldn‘t have a declining population.

The gubbermint doesn’t want you to know this, but men can also get pregnant. You just need to keep trying.
