Hey all,

fate was kind to me: I got to meet a really cool couple who make their own estradiol-enanthate and give it away to everyone who needs it for production cost. So I’ll actually be able to try mono after all, something I would’ve preferred from the start. Pretty excited, got everything ready to go now, but am a bit insecure on how to best make the switch.

Currently on 3mg gel / day and 12.5mg cypro every other day. I’m not sure of current blood levels, had some drawn earlier today and hopefully get results soon. Last actual levels are without blockers and on 1.5mg gel, about 2.5 months ago: E 135 pg/ml and T 1.890 ng/ml. Seems like T already got suppressed some, sadly don’t have any bloodwork pre-hrt. Maybe it’s been low all my life, idk.

Since enanthate will need some time to build up, would it be best to taper of gel and blockers gradually over maybe 3-4 weeks?? Should I even stop blockers anytime soon? Physician today suggested getting off both at once, as soon as I inject the first dose, but not sure. I’m frightened of T coming up if suppression doesn’t happen as hoped. And what would be a good starting dose? Thinking of going for the recommended 5mg / 7 days.

Oh well, would be grateful if anyone could offer some advice or has experience :3

When I switched from gel to EEn (never used any anti-androgen… other than E2 I guess lol), I progressively reduced my dosage of gel over 4-5 days after the first injection, and it was perfectly fine. So I’d say, don’t worry too much about it. :)

Ah, I’ll try. I just can’t find any info on that, not even bad data at least, what we’re used to x)

May I ask what dosages you’ve been on and went to?

You can use https://estrannai.se/ to simulate your levels, even if the models are not perfect, they give an idea.

I went from 5,25 mg/day (gel) to 5 mg/week (EEn). I’ll see after my next blood test whether to reduce it or not, but so far so good haha.

When I switched from Gek to inhections I was already monotherapying so idk about thr blockers but it is true that thr EEN needa a couple of weeks ofbuildup. What I did was over three weeks lower the dose and then cuz it. First week I took the normal gel dose, second and third half of the gel dose and then I stopped. I dont think much can go wrong when you overlap other than a bit higher level so my tip would be just don’t stress about it :)
