2·29 days agoEvery communist state will fail to achieve communism because a state cannot abolish itself, but don’t try to pretend their failures are an indictment of communism as a whole. If we want communism, we have to get there a different way, through actions that are aligned with our goal. Seizing state power will never work.
And sure, maybe capitalism is working fine for you and your loved ones, but if you’d look outside your bubble, a lot of people are suffering. Insisting that capitalism is the only economic system that works is a bit shortsighted I think. Gift economies might be a better way.

There are plenty of Corporations that lean hard left.
What do you mean by this? I’ve never seen a corporation run democratically by the workers from the bottom up; it’s always the opposite. Or is your idea of a “left” corporation one that puts a rainbow on their logo in June and engages in identity politics?
polictians are our common enemy
Agreed. We need to abolish the state.
The left are the fascists with their politically correct and willful segregation practices.
You seem to be describing liberals here(?) Liberals are not left, they’re on the right. Also, you sound like a Republican.
Monero my beloved…
I believe in a future where we won’t need money anymore, but in the meantime, Monero is a pretty solid choice.

Yeah that’s how I interpreted it too. However, even with that interpretation, it feels like they’re blaming the victim for their own subjugation.
It’s akin to saying that black people stealing from Walmart gets in the way of eradicating racism, without addressing the reason why they have to steal in the first place. If they had money for groceries, they wouldn’t be stealing. Likewise, if that young woman had enough money to live a comfortable life, I highly doubt she would have spent two years of her life married to that crusty old man. Subjugated people do what they have to do to survive.
We all word things the wrong way sometimes, and that’s okay. Everyone deserves a chance to clarify what they meant. In this case, however, it seems that pH3ra has only continued to double down on their original statement.

Sounds about right for a tankie, class reductionism is stupid.
If horseshoe theory was actually true, you’d expect to see more of that sort of behavior among left-wing communists (such as anarcho-communists), but the opposite is true. Left communists are often the loudest critics of tankies.
Horseshoe theory has no basis in reality. If you actually knew the definitions of Left and Right, you would realize that they’re diametrically opposite. Please educate yourself.

2·3 months agoIf your don’t mind assembling the printer yourself, get a Voron 2.4 kit. It’s an open-source 3d printer, perfect for getting your hands dirty. Much easier to upgrade and repair than a Bambu.
Edit: I believe Voron printers are typically used over a network, but you should be able to just plug a monitor into it and do the slicing and printing on it directly. They typically have a Raspberry Pi or a Pi clone built into them for running Klipper.

FreeCAD has become quite usable over the past couple of years, and it keeps getting better with every update. I know you maybe don’t get to choose which CAD program you use since you’re a student, but thought I’d put it out there. I’ve been really enjoying it so far.
