We have a new front end for our users to try out. Photon is my favourite of the three front ends we have enabled. It’s clean and modern, and for those of you who moderate communities, it has good access to moderation tools!

i like how i have all four open cause i can’t decide which one to use because they’re all so pretty! T_T
The best thing about this is that finally you don’t have to click on every post anymore. I don’t know if I’m the only one who found it insufferable, but the amount of times I accidentally opened a link while trying to see an image because both look near identical and you can’t see the image without clicking on it drove me nuts.

Because PWAs are such a pain to manage, it’s pretty difficult for me to let the PWA have the icon and name of the instance that hosts it. You can customize your colors from the main menu > theme though.

It looks pretty nice, although a bit much wasted space for my tastes. Anyone else feel like it’s running at 20fps and also doing some weird smooth scrolling thing?
