I keep hearing about all of the new features that Piefed has compared to Lemmy, so I would like to try it out. However, I’m having trouble making an account.
I tried registering at https://piefed.blahaj.zone/auth/register
I see the note to get the token from my Lemmy account but when I click on https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/link I receive an error I get redirected to mllym and receive the following error: “Authentication Failed No authentication token found. Please make sure you’re accessing this page through the proper authentication flow.”
I also tried just creating an account a while back without using the token but I don’t think it ever got approved.

The token doesn’t work right now but we regularly check piefed for new accounts and manually approve them. What was the account you created called?
Edit: No accounts are waiting to be approved so we either approved it already (likely) or it was denied (unlikely)
Okay, this was a while ago. I’m pretty sure I used my same account name, snowsuit2654. I probably messed it up. I will try again, thanks!
That one has been approved. It’s possible your old one wasn’t approved if we couldn’t be sure it wasn’t a bot

The token link doesn’t work for me either, but I think you just have to wait until your account is registered. Did you leave the question blank about why you wanted to make an account on piefed?
It’s worth pointing out that we don’t require emails when you sign up, and so, there is no email confirmation when you’re approved.
